About ProjectUsing Near Field Communication wireless sensors and the internet to solve some of the issues with traveling in major cities.
What is NFC? (Near Field Communication) is a wireless system that allows phones to swap data with other devices when they’re close together. The study of NFC lead me to create an innovative transportation system tool by using just data and wireless sensors to make travelers journey’s easier. The users walks to their local bus shelter and checks-in as their first point. They get on the bus/streetcar and are given delay updates along their journey. In the mean time the system sensors will wait for the user to check-in at his/her destination in cases of a change in direction or a delay prompting the user to find alternate routes.
